Newhaven served as the party's home base from the very first session. The town hosted the guild network, a web of notice boards and contacts that kept The Royal Fuck Ups employed (and occasionally out of trouble).
The Guild
The guild network linked adventuring groups with jobs across the region. Garth Eaglehook served as branch leader. The board was a reliable source of quests ranging from goblin extermination to anonymous courier work paying suspiciously well.

Torzzazz Zazzlefizz was more than a shopkeeper — he commissioned the party to investigate suspicious individuals in town, offering a Potion of Invulnerability (market rate 700 gp) as payment. That investigation led to the cult of Sanguinax.
